BMI = weight (kg) ÷ height (m)². The World Health Organization sets these adult ranges: below 18.5 underweight, 18.5–24.9 normal weight, 25–29.9 overweight, 30 and above obesity. The healthy weight range is your height squared multiplied by 18.5 and 24.9.
For adults a normal BMI is 18.5 to 24.9. Below is underweight, from 25 overweight and from 30 obesity.
